Dr. Seuss Birthday

So my oldest was in Pre-K last year!!  Well Dr. Seuss Birthday was on a Friday and that Wednesday before my daughter brought home a letter saying that they were to dress up as their fav Dr Seuss character!  One day preparation.....really!!  Well one of her BFF's is in her class....so of course I decided on Thing 1 and Thing 2.  This is what I whipped up.....

I went on a mission to find two blue feather boas....HOWEVER I found one!!  BUMMER!!  So I went to Michaels and purchased some  blue feathers.  So I glued them on one by one on a stocking cap! The white circle was felt with the sticky backing.  The red jacket and pants were on sale at Walmart for like 3 bucks!!! It worked and was a hit with their teachers!!  Lol

Oh and I made these for their teachers!!

Mod Podge

Okay so I did this little project MONTHS ago!!!  But it was my first time working with Mod Podge!  I was browsing the net and I kept seeing this mod podge....and the cute things that could be done with it.  So of course I made a trip to Michaels and scooped up a bottle!! I had no clue what I was going to Mod BUT.. I had some canvas just laying around and I had just gotten my Circut Mini....so go figure!!  Lol Well a few hours later this is what I came up with.

My girls loved it and I thought it was pretty cute myself!  Lol  So there's my first ever Mod Podge project!  :)

Cardboard PIZZA anyone????

Rainy Saturday afternoon.....let's make a pizza!!

Pencil/Pen Holder

So I'm sure by now everyone is on Pinterest!!!  OMG I could spend hours on there!!  It never gets boring.  Well I thought I would try one of the crafts I saw on there.  It actually turned out awesome. I am very proud of myself!!

Melted Crayon Hearts

Im back.... back to the craft I mentioned in my previous post...so far its going well.  So I made an attempt to make crayon hearts for my daughters class...as their Valentine's gift.  They came out great!!  Here is a pic...  

I am going to do more things with it....just thought I'd give you a peek of what I have so far!!!
