Okay so this is day 3 that my allergies have been kicking my butt. HELP!!! However I have to meet with a client at 4 about her wedding, I am working on some wedding decor, planning my youngest daughters 3rd birthday party, planning a baby shower, and of course on facebook. All of this while sneezing, blowing my nose, and having itchy throat and eyes!! Well back to work!! I just wanted to share my recent dilemma!

Happy Monday!!
It's Monday!!! Last Monday for this month!! Soooooo....I'm spending some time with my parents since my husband left for some training 2 days ago. He is preparing to head to Afghanistan! :/ So I am here enjoying being spoiled and taking a tiny break from mommy duties! With that said I have some free time so I am going to do some much needed crafting and scrapbooking! I bought my comp and my Cricut Mini along with me...the only thing I am missing are my clear stamps! :( However there is a Hobby Lobby about 28 mins from here so I may have to make a trip!! Lol Well I am going to upload another CCR cut file I just put together!!! Enjoy your week!!

Kitchen Chair Makeover
Okay...so I had these chairs in my kitchen that are black. Well the cushion was black. They were driving me insane and I had almost come to the conclusion to just throw them out. I had purchased them along with a table for $20 just to take up some space in my kitchen. So there was no real emotional attachment!! The kids used it the most bc my dining room table is bar height and we never sit in there only on special occasions. Anyhoo...one day I was in Joannes and I saw some little fabric squares. So I picked up a couple not knowing what I was going to do with them and headed home. Well like a week went by and the fabric was still waiting to be used! Lol I know I am not the only person that just buy things bc you know you are going to NEED them one day! So the point is that I used it to cover my chairs!! Woohoo!!! I love it...and the color scheme goes perfect with my kitchen. Here it is!!

Mod Podge
Okay so I did this little project MONTHS ago!!! But it was my first time working with Mod Podge! I was browsing the net and I kept seeing this mod podge....and the cute things that could be done with it. So of course I made a trip to Michaels and scooped up a bottle!! I had no clue what I was going to Mod BUT.. I had some canvas just laying around and I had just gotten my Circut Mini....so go figure!! Lol Well a few hours later this is what I came up with.
My girls loved it and I thought it was pretty cute myself! Lol So there's my first ever Mod Podge project! :)

Cricut Craft Room Weather Cut File
Okay....So I am sitting here watching "America's Got Talent" and ummmmm....this guy that likes to get kicked in the ummmm...yeah!! So ridiculous! Anyhoo while I am sitting here I made another Cricut Craft Room Cut File!! I designed a cloud and sun. The rain and lighten bolt were already part of the Cricut images! Woohoo!! Yayy me!! So here it is!!

How's everyone doing this Tuesday afternoon/night! We just finished having a good little storm! Thought I would blog right quick while watching a little tv and the kids are entertaining themselves.
So....I have a new love and it is for CLEAR STAMPS!!! I never ever knew how to use them but would always see them in the craft store. Well my dear friend introduced me to them now im hooked. So much that the other day I went on eBay searching for them and I found some for 99 cent and shipping was only 44 cent! So yes I just had to get a few. Lol ONLY a few....here they are!!
And I just checked and there are some new ones. So go figure....I just have to add them to my collection! Well that's all I wanted to say! Lol

Sharing Cricut Craft Room Cuts
Morning!!!! I am so not a morning person....& don't like to converse before 9am....Thankfully texting and blogging was invented! Lol Well....I am the proud owner of a Cricut Mini...I have been for about 4 months now. Everyday I learn something new about it. I hate reading directions/instructions. I am a "figure it out" kind of person! Anyhoo....as much as I adore my mini...I don't adore the cartridge prices! BUT I said I will just suck it up and purchase cartridges! Then the light bulb when off and I was like...hey why dont I make my own images. DUH!!! So at first I was unsure as to how to use mat layers. So I decided to read and learn. Now I feel like I am a pro (not really)!! So now I am super excited about making my own images. Now I will just purchase font cartridges and cartridges that I find on sale. So here is my first one that I would like to share. PLEASE PLEASE let me know if this works/doesn't work! This is my test run!!! This cut is of popcorn, film reel, & the little board the they have when the director says "take two"...I cant think of the real name for it. Lol I will be sharing other cuts as well!! Happy Friday!!!! What's everyone doing for the weekend? I know I plan to stay indoors and cool!! Heat & me are not that good of friends! Lol Well I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be posting tutorials on the different crafts I have done and I will continue to do so from now on! I don't know what I was thinking just posting pics!! Lol Silly me... I guess I was having mommy memory!! Well...hate to rush but I'm scrapping (scrapbooking) tonight with a couple friends!! So...I need to pack up my cricut mini and everything else I am going to need!! Oh...plus cook dinner before I go :(..Lol Have an AWESOME weekend and drink plenty of water!
